The grip has an alternating pattern of rubber and the plastic barrel. The rubber is soft to the touch for comfortable writing, and its plastic body makes for a lightweight tool. This mechanical pencil contains a brass mechanism which allows for precise lead advancement. A fixed lead pipe prevents lead breakage and offers a clear view of writing and drawing.
