Drawing The children choose the colour they want to use and paint their design on a suitable surface, using their fingers as a paintbrush. They can leave just the outline of the motifs they have painted or fill them in with colour. Fingers The children dip their fingertips into the paint and make a painting with coloured dots. They can press down a number of times with their fingers on the paper until the paint leaves no trace. This allows them to experiment with the varying intensities of each colour. Printing This can be done with hands or with a sponge. The children dip their hands, feet or a sponge in the shape of a star, animal, etc. into the finger paints and press them down on the chosen surface to leave their imprint.
